Anti-Discrimination and Hate Speech Policy

Mind The Milky Way is a platform made for creatives individuals to share, collaborate and communicate. Although art is subjective, Mind The Milky Way is dedicated to ensuring that users of our services feel safe, and our priority is to become an inclusive environment. This policy explains the kind of behaviour we prohibit on Mind The Milky Way to make sure we all have a positive experience.

This policy is a part of our Terms of Use. By using Mind The Milky Way, you’re agreeing to this policy and our Terms of Use.

Mind The Milky Way will not tolerate the use of our Services to discriminate against people based on personal attributes (collectively, “protected groups”):

  • Race
  • Colour
  • Ethnicity
  • National origin
  • Religion
  • Gender
  • Gender identity
  • Sexual orientation
  • Disability
  • Any other characteristic protected under applicable law

Mind The Milky Way is not responsible for your knowledge of the local laws and any other legal regulations on discrimination that might apply to you.

Mind The Milky Way will also not tolerate hate speech. Hate speech can be determined when violent, offensive, derogatory or demeaning language is directed at a person or group based on their one or more personal and/or group attributes.

It does not matter if you are using the private or public features on Mind The Milky Way, writing reviews, direct messaging with other members of the Mind The Milky Way community, such as via e-mail, discrimination and hate speech are not allowed. Examples of prohibited behaviour include, but are not limited to:

  • Expressing disrespect to another member on the basis of protected group attributes
  • Directly or indirectly making derogatory or demeaning remarks against protected groups listed above
  • Racial slurs
  • Posts that support or glorify hate groups and their members
  • Posts that promote hate and violence
